What are you overcoming for your children? Buckle What are you overcoming for your children?

Buckle in…

Before we had children, life was simple.

Go where we want, do what we want, be who we want…

Then responsibility punches you right in the face

It says in big capital bold letters…

“DO NOT FUCK UP”

So, why am I telling you this

Because, to give Dylan and Lyla the best of me, I needed to face my insecurities

1: Not being good enough
2: Not being good with confrontation
3: Not getting involved for fear of getting it wrong.
4: Being disorganised (still very much a working progress)
5: Getting easily distracted

Now there is a reason I’m sharing this…

I’ve still ended having all of these above happen since the sleep deprivers entered our world.

But, I’ve worked hard to be better with them.

As a man:

I feel my role is to provide and protect their world.
To be a role model.
To show love even in the toughest of moments.
Show them discipline and the courage to be brave.
To be there when they needed me.

Being a business owner, you’ll often feel conflict between work and home.

I’m at home more, I potentially earn less.
If I’m at work more, I can’t show and teach them my vision of the world.

It’s tough, I won’t lie, I’ve been in tears many a time feeling I’ve let them down… (Mainly I’m tired and frustrated not actually feeling I’ve let them down)

But by doing the personal development work, understanding different frameworks, giving myself a perspective that gives me the best of both has enabled me to do what I love to the best of my ability.

Others will judge you.
Others will criticise you.
People who don’t know you will want to tell you their opinion.

The reason I wrote this post is, the kids are my world, but if I’m not in a good place I’m not good for them, my wife or anyone else.

It’s important you work on yourself because the best version of you is what they need.

Kids are incredible at bringing out the reality and making you evolve.

I wouldn’t change them for the world.

But, if you haven’t done the work before having kids, be prepared for a@l bigger reality check than you’ve ever had before…

If you want to get to a similar level of peace and happiness in yourself, drop me a DM today

Learn to love the imposter feeling… 18 months a Learn to love the imposter feeling…

18 months ago, I had an itch I needed to scratch

I knew I wanted to do more than just take photos

Let’s be honest

I took so many and travelled the world with it, I had kinda conquered it

I’ve always loved psychology and mindset

It’s what makes the best the best and the weakest the not the best yet…

But, since that moment, I’ve spent most of the time feeling some level of an imposter.

I get results.

I know I can help people.

I know I have helped people, but different problems come up and I have to learn and think on the spot.

Am I good enough, do I have the knowledge, can I help this person get to their outcome.

Of course I can

Is someone else can… so can I

The difference here is, any other business professional is still learning every day

Every sports star is still training 5 times a week.

Every movie start is taking on bigger challenges and new roles

It’s a sign of success, it’s a sign of growth…

You don’t have imposter syndrome

You have an imposter feeling…

That means you’re in a position of learning something more advanced than you were yesterday

Embrace it.

It’s a good thing.

I hope I keep feeling like an imposter.

I hope I keep learning and feeling out of my depth.

If I spent 10 years feeling like an imposter and became one of the world’s best personal development coaches, it would have been worth it.

It’s forced evolution

It’s I need to grow fast, it’s uncomfortable, it’s not easy, but it’s necessary

To grow

To evolve.

To be more than you were last year.

Hey, my name is Ben Mark, I’ve felt like an imposter for 8 years and became respected and well know in the fitness industry and built 2 x 6 figure businesses from it.

Learn to love it

Learn to leverage it.

Learn to learn fast.

It will get you further than ever before…
Is it time to break the pattern? You’re stagnan Is it time to break the pattern?

You’re stagnant

Not progressing

Still seeing negative outcomes every time…

3 vital changes to make…

1: Change the question… It’s most likely am I good enough..
Change it too what proof have I got already.

2: Am I only asking these questions after negative outcomes?
You might just be damaging yourself for no reason.

3: You’re most likely thinking about the judgement, potential failure or loss of something not with the goal in mind.
Think practically about what you need to do to get to the goal…

If these are a common struggle for you…

drop me a DM saying “Results” so we can help you past this hurdle…
You could save somebody’s life by being more con You could save somebody’s life by being more confident…

Let that sink in a moment

You can save their life and confidently identify as someone successful…

That’s what you’re after right.

A client who has a phenomenal story was lacking the confidence to sell to achieve her dream…

Because she thought it was the program that the clients needed…

In actually fact it’s the life changing transformation they’re desperate for!!

But, you’re thinking money not impact.
You’re thinking program not someone’s life at stake.

If you’ve got this far, probably means your sales confidence is out of line.

It’s all based on your Identity.

Let me solve that for you.

DM me the world “Sales” to solve that problem.

Do you struggle with confidence in sales???
Coming to peace with your inner child. My story… Coming to peace with your inner child. My story…

As a child, I always wanted to be apart of everything.

I always wanted to fit in, be liked, make people smile, be as caring as my parents were.

I put my all into what I do.

This meant I made mistakes a lot as I preferred to find out on the way instead of learn before hand.

It’s one of the main reasons my photography business blew up…

I just wanted to help and do good for everyone.

This came with an issue…

Cue a career change into a personal development coach.

12 months in, we’ve got amazing results but something was way out of line…

I needed a re-alignment and boy did I get it…

Whilst I was in with my therapist

He asked me a question that pulled me back into my seat…

He said “Ben, you sound like you don’t know yourself anymore”

That’s why I pay him, I want honest feedback

The truth is, I’m a father, a husband, multiple business owner, dog owner, renting a house, running two facilities and trying to make the most of our life.

Going back to my childhood.

I was the captain of our successful football team.

I took the responsibility to guide the team to win. When I played football, I switched off from the world.

I was 100% in it to win it.

At 16 I was in charge of the third biggest Halfords bike department in the uk.

My shifts always made the sales target, always ticked all the boxes, had a happy team.

Success, hard work, vision, dedication always got me through.

One football match in particular stands out.

We played a team of lads who quite frankly terrified us all. They were all taller than us and came from a rougher background.

That day, we somehow won the game, but, I came off the pitch in tears, I had been kicked so hard multiple times I couldn’t feel my legs and quiet frankly don’t know how we got through.

My manager gave me player of the year for that game alone.

On our toughest day, I stood up.

I put myself on the line.

Why?

I wanted to prove to my younger self, I was stronger than I thought.

Today, whilst I juggle all the above.

I am doing this for my younger self, who didn’t feel good enough.

I’m doing this to be authentic when my kids ask me for support and guidance.

Are you using dirty energy? Yeah, I’m being se Are you using dirty energy?

Yeah, I’m being serious.

Are you wasting your time ploughing yourself full of caffeine, fueling yourself with shit food, and also just allowing yourself to be average in your approach?

So many people that I see are not getting up in the morning and attacking the day to win for themselves.

They’re like probably having about 15 cans of monster and wondering why they’ve got anxiety all over the place.

And then the third thing is, is they’re actually just just not putting good things into themselves to actually move forward.

You’ve run your business, you’ve got successful.

You almost think it’s not about you anymore. But actually that’s the reason why you’re not getting anywhere is you’re allowing your standards to drop.

I know when I’ve done it.

When I look for comfort food, I used to overeat. I used to use food as an emotional way of, you know, feeling better in myself.

Right? But I realize when I’m going to do those things that something’s telling me inside that I’m not happy and I’m not doing the right thing.

And that’s when I need to change.

So if you’re sitting there listening today and you listen going, I’m actually running off of dirty energy right now and you’re not happy.

Stop having all the caffeine, stop eating shit food. Stop allowing yourself to be half of what you’re capable of being.

Because the difference here is, is the person that achieves all these things and gets over all of those other stuff is the person who only wins, but also feels a lot more fulfillment for themselves, and you actually feel happy about what you’ve achieved for you.

So let’s get rid of that dirty energy.
#Let’s get you running on something that’s renewable, that’s reusable, and actually something that’s actually beneficial to you if you need help with this,

if you’ve got some limits in a way, please reach out because we can remove those and get you firing on all cylinders.
