I started off this year with a hell of a lot of plans and ideas of how I was going to make 2018 the best year ever.
Honestly, I had a huge list of things that I wanted to do and all this time with no bookings to make it happen.
So, what happened…
Well, I got really busy, as in, so busy that I often couldn’t spare the time to make most of the content I planned on making, all these amazing ideas I had… well I didn’t do most of them.
Here are all the major facts of what you need to know.
It’s been the best year of my life ever.
I started off the year with no real guaranteed income, dates and events changed often and I knew I was in for a bumpy ride.
Well, in 2018, I’ve made 2x more income than I’ve ever earned before, we got a puppy, I got to spend a month travelling around Asia with my partner who I made my wife in Sept over in Portugal, I travelled to Dubai and Spain with my photography, I spend 120 days doing television work in Italy, France, Scotland, Portugal, Spain. I hired a business coach, I started a coaching program with clients in Australia, Dubai and London.
I had a few smaller targets for myself.
- To earn more income from my photography than my previous year’s full-time employment.
- To earn more income in less time from my photography than the television work that I had agreed to in 2019.
- To make more than £1500 in 0ne photoshoot.
- To get a job working outside the UK with photography.
- (This goal came later in the year) Launch my coaching program and get clients before the end of 2018.
- Get my Instagram to 5k followers.
- Spend more time with Jade (Wife)
Well, I did all bar one…

All I want to say is…
In 2018, I’ve achieved more than I ever expected. I’ve gone from feeling broke to not believing how much I’ve made, I’ve lost lots of sleep and also had many celebrations (mainly with myself) and I’ve learnt so much about myself.
I do not really even feel that I’ve got out of First gear yet.
If you’re going to do anything with your life, go believe in yourself, go follow your passion, go do more than you’ve done before, meet new people, adventure and just aim to influence as many people as you can.
I did all of those things and wouldn’t change it for the world.
